Jessica is the Founder and Lead Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist at Grey Bruce OMT. As a Registered Dental Hygienist and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist, she is passionate about helping individuals and families uncover the root causes of symptoms rather than simply managing them.
Jessica has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2014. Her passion for education and whole-health care led her to pursue advanced training in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy in 2020, a decision that transformed both her clinical approach and her sense of purpose.
Throughout her career, Jessica has been driven by a desire to empower patients through education. Myofunctional therapy expanded that mission, allowing her to address the foundational patterns of breathing, oral function, sleep, growth, and development that often go unnoticed. Having navigated her own myofunctional challenges and later experiencing many of these concerns firsthand as a mother, she brings both professional expertise and genuine empathy to the individuals and families she serves.
What truly sets Jessica apart is her commitment to helping patients find answers. She believes individuals and families should feel empowered to trust their instincts, ask questions, and continue seeking solutions when something doesn't feel right. She takes a big-picture approach to care, leaving no stone unturned in the pursuit of understanding the "why" behind symptoms.
Jessica is deeply committed to collaboration and spends significant time building relationships with healthcare professionals across multiple disciplines. By understanding each practitioner's role and expertise, she helps create a trusted circle of care where patients feel heard, supported, and confident throughout their journey. Her goal is not only to improve oral function, but to help individuals and families achieve lasting health and wellness through a thoughtful, comprehensive approach.
Jessica is a Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO) and is a member of the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association (CDHA) and the Ontario Dental Hygienists' Association (ODHA). She has completed advanced training in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy with MyoMentor, MyoCoaches and Airway Circle, Functional and Therapeutic Breathing, and continues to pursue ongoing education in airway health and whole-body wellness. She is also a proud member of the International Association of Airway Hygienists (IAAH) and the Airway Circle community.
Outside of the clinic, Jessica enjoys spending time outdoors, travelling, exploring new places, and making memories with her husband and daughter. She feels honoured to walk alongside her patients as they work toward better function, better health, and a better quality of life.

Carla believes that every patient is unique and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to health. She enjoys working alongside patients and families to better understand their concerns, create individualized plans, and help them achieve lasting improvements in function and wellness.
