About Our Orofacial Myofunctional Therapists
Hi, I’m Jessica!
Founder & Lead Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist
I am a Registered Dental Hygienist and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist with a deep passion for education, collaboration, and whole-health care. My journey in the dental field began in 2011 through the Dental Assisting program, followed by the Dental Hygiene program at Fanshawe College. Since 2014, I have proudly worked as a Registered Dental Hygienist in my hometown of Hanover, Ontario.
Education has always been at the heart of my work. I am a lifelong learner, often taking new courses, exploring emerging research, and developing thoughtful resources to better support my patients and their families. In September 2020, I took a pivotal step forward by advancing my education in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, a decision that profoundly shaped both my clinical focus and my sense of purpose.
As a dental hygienist, I have always loved empowering patients through education to improve their oral health and overall well-being. Myofunctional therapy expanded that passion even further, allowing me to address the foundational patterns of breathing, oral function, sleep, and development. During my training, I began to recognize my own myofunctional challenges and experienced firsthand the impact of addressing root causes rather than symptoms. I am grateful for this experience as it continues to guide my approach today.
Becoming a mother has added an entirely new dimension to my work. Experiencing airway development, feeding, oral habits, sleep, and growth firsthand with my own daughter has brought a deeper level of insight, empathy, and clarity to the care I provide. It has reinforced the importance of early awareness, gentle intervention, and supporting families through both the clinical and emotional aspects of this journey. This lived experience continually shapes how I educate, assess, and support the families I work with.
The knowledge I have gained through years of dental hygiene practice, combined with advanced training in orofacial myofunctional therapy and real-life experience as a parent, allows me to take a thorough, thoughtful approach to care. I consider the whole person — and the whole family — taking into account health history, habits, environment, and individual goals to connect the dots and create meaningful, personalized treatment plans.
Myofunctional therapy is most effective when delivered collaboratively. As the founder of Grey Bruce OMT, I am deeply committed to building a team-based, multidisciplinary model of care. I work closely with and mentor our associates, while actively collaborating with dentists, physicians, orthodontists, lactation consultants, bodyworkers, and other healthcare providers to ensure our patients receive comprehensive, well-supported care.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, travelling and exploring new places, and soaking up all the meaningful moments with my daughter and husband. These experiences continue to ground me, inspire my work, and remind me why whole-health care and family-centered support matter so deeply.
I am incredibly passionate about the field of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy and feel honoured to walk alongside individuals and families on their journey toward improved function, health, and long-term wellness.

Meet Carla!
Carla is a registered Dental Hygienist and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist. Her dental journey began in 2005 in London, ON with a dental assisting program. I then jumped right into the dental hygiene program in Burlington, ON and graduated in 2008. Since 2009, she has been practicing as a dental hygienist in Hanover, ON.
“I love what I do and continue to advance my knowledge every year.”
Carla’s interest in Myofunctional Therapy started a number of years ago, and in early 2025, she decided to dive deeper by taking and completing a Myofunctional Therapy course.
“I’m so excited to bring this knowledge into my patient care.
Outside of the clinic, I’m a very busy mom of 4 young children. I bring patience, creativity, and an understanding of the hectic schedules families juggle every day. I love challenging myself, learning all I can, and working together with patients to find what works best, because there’s no single approach that works for everyone.”

Meet Judy!
Judy has been a dental hygienist since 2012, and along the way her passion for airway health grew into a deeper calling. She now focuses on helping patients improve their breathing, sleep, and overall wellness by identifying and addressing the underlying causes of oral dysfunction - treat the root cause, not just the symptoms. Outside of the clinic, you’ll find her behind a camera working on her photography and exploring new places!
Judy works with clients 1:1 virtually and is available afternoons and early evenings to support the busy schedules of families.
